Great menu. Creative and versatile. Served by friendly, competent staff. A very special culinary holiday experience.

Well you don't have to say much about it. The "Schiffergesellschaft" is a real eye-catcher for every Lübeck tourist. Whether you want to have a fine meal or just have a coffee, there is something for every budget. Very original decoration generously round off the ambience. I recommend this restaurant for the fact that you have to see it when you visit Lübeck (far too rarely in my case). I don't really care whether the food is tasty, expensive or something. Here you also pay for the original ambience, which somehow has its price. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were very excited about the venerable boat company and were not disappointed. Very nice welcome, friendly and professional service, food and drink very good - both fish, meat and wine - and the ambience is of course unique. Like in the belly of an old tall ship :-)

A great restaurant, we were served very friendly-even though we wanted to stop spontaneously and almost all seats were reserved. The service is excellent, the food and drinks were tasty and the price was reasonable. The decor is phenomenal and is second to none. Sure, in the past. We will be back....

Great ☺️ Wonderful ☺️ Historically valuable !!! ? Incredible atmosphere. Everything is old and if wood could talk about what has happened in the rooms. Probably the finest nautical yarn. The food is very good. My highlight: Labskaus! It doesn't get any better than that. A great house wine ? - a perfect evening is guaranteed.

I don’t even need to write much here. In our opinion this is simply the best restaurant in Lübeck! You will get fantastic traditional food in this place with hundreds of years of history. The staff is attentive, friendly and highly professional. We totally love it!

You should have seen it and of course eat there too! A very nice head waiter, if I may put it that way ...... who gave very friendly and nice information about the history of the restaurant. Many many thanks!

The atmosphere of the Schiffergesellschaft is historical and very well-kept and dignified. The dishes are very nicely presented and tasty, and the service was very friendly. The drinks are priced very confidently (see invoice). The real reason for my relatively bad rating is as follows: Since my plaice was served without sauce (but it was also on the menu), I asked for some melted butter. That was then charged with € 2.50 extra. I find that incredibly petty. € 2.50 is not much for me, but it still spoils my restaurant visit. When going out there was a gentleman at the reception. When I asked if he was the boss, he replied in the affirmative. I described the facts, whereupon he was irritated and said: "Did they really charge extra? Can't be ..." But that was it. No apologies, no refunds. I am an entrepreneur myself and I just feel exhausted when such an incident occurs. In any case, he keeps me from visiting again.

Food was very good. Unfortunately, as a tourist, you sit in the front area and not on chairs like in the back area. The bench is a bit tough after 4 hours. Otherwise good service. Gladly again.

Excellent food, friendly and professional service, fun historic atmosphere...what more could you want? We had 4x different fish dishes, and every one delicious.

Great restaurant to experience something of Lübeck's history as a seafaring city. In addition, the food is very good and the service is professional and attentive. All in all very recommendable.

The Schiffergesellschaft is a great restaurant with a long and traditional history, but without looking stiff or old-fashioned. The decor is maritime, Hanseatic and very atmospheric. The food and drinks are excellent, the service very friendly and professional.

This restaurant shouldn't be missed. A historical ambience at long tables on long benches. The food is worth its higher price. And the staff is fun and friendly.

The "Schiffergesellschaft" restaurant is simply a must for visitors to Lübeck. One is overwhelmed by this historical place. I don't know where to look anymore. Simply great and worth seeing. Very nice azch: The exact description of the creation and history of this house. Unfortunately, the kitchen cannot quite withstand this pressure of expectation. As a restaurant, it is more of an appearance than being. We had fresh soup and goat cheese au gratin as a starter. The Wiener Schnitzel with fried potatoes, or a fillet pot (pork, beef and chicken breast) with mushrooms, stewed vegetables and fried potatoes for the main course. The schnitzel was quite "dry" and not fluffing, the fried potatoes were very fatty (not drained) but very light, so only very briefly in the pan. Not crispy, not cooked, unsalted. The service was very, very nice and handled the complaint competently.

Definitely worth a visit! It is a more expensive place, but ideal for special occasions (or as a visitor to the city). Excellent service meets fine cuisine - but the atmosphere of the room stands out in particular!

Absolutely perfect. A dream location. You must have seen that. These venerable halls of the Schiffergesellschaft. With original furnishings from old ships, huge old ship models in glass cases and a super menu. The food was delicious and of good quality. And believe me, I am a critical customer. But this shop is an experience for all the senses. Check it out. We would love to come back when we are in Lübeck.

During our short trip to the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, we chose the Schiffergesellschaft restaurant for the first evening, and it was a very good decision. Although we couldn't make a reservation and came to the restaurant spontaneously, a table was set up for us after a short wait. The cellar was very friendly the whole evening and helped with the special features of handling my clod. We both enjoyed our food very much. A special point in the Schiffergesellschaft is the ambience in the entire restaurant, here you can read parts of the history of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck over the evening. We are happy to recommend the restaurant!

Interior is very nice. But the food is very bad, overcooked, dry, not fresh, it seems that they use cheap and bad ingredients, fish smells bad. Isn't worth the price. The waiter to my comment just said ok and charged the full price without trying to offer anything ;)

Friendly service and good food. The Zanderfilet is one of the best Zanderfilet I ever had.:-) The atmosphere in the restaurant is also nice.

I visited this place to enjoy a piece of cake and a cup of chocolate. They were delicious. The lights also very beautiful and the waitress was friendly.

Ok, average place but overpriced and overrated in my humble opinion. The menu is hit and miss in my experience: We ordered one dish from the daily menu, a really tasty and well prepared cabbage and pork based dish. and one dish we ordered from the menu card: a mixed grill, which was poor quality (dry chicken and dry pork). The staff was mostly too busy serving other people - it seems quite a popular place. I think there are many better places around

Arrived at the restaurant friday 19 am. We haven't reserved any table. Was met by a servant. I asked if a table was available for 2. He gave me a derogatory gaze and turned me his back while pointing beyond the restaurant. Can't you see we are having a big party and went down the restaurants without more words.
